Our beautiful facility is located in the Heart of the Laurel Highlands and just minutes from historical Flight 93 Memorial Site....
The facility offers:
36 10x10 Spacious Box Stalls in Our Main Barn
Spacious Indoor Arena
2 SpaciousTack Rooms with built in Saddle racks and room for your personal lockers or we have a few lockers ..
A large crossties Area that continues down the Main Barn.
Farrier and Vet Area with over head lights
A Heated bathroom with Hot/Cold running water
A Cozy Lounge with most comforts of home,
Large outdoor Arena 80x120
Miles of clear trails never cross the same trail twice
145 acres of beauitful pasture land
Mares are out on 65 acres
Gelding are out on 80 acres
We also have 20 acres that we use for our horses with Limited turn out for Injuries or Mares/Foals who cant be out with the herd.
**Horses are fed twice daily and only kept inside during inclement weather "Winter Months" or In the heat of the day "Summer Months" or to suit your needs. We feed only the highest quality hay and grain. WE ARE 100% POULIN POWERED!
ALL horses are placed on a routine worming program, farrier, vet and dental schedule.
We want to create an exceptional experience for you by focusing on a safe, relaxed, enjoyable environment along with a world class facility. Every horse is cared for as if it was part of our family!
Requirments:
Each horse entering GSHF must have a negative coggins within the last 6 months to a year prior to arrival at Golden Star.
Each horse must be up to date on all immunizations and receive boosters on an annual basis either at our Spring or Fall Vet Visit. by our wonderful Vet staff at Forest Hill Veterinary Hospital ...
Each horse will be wormed on the barn schedule, The 15th of every other month. All Owners are required to purchase their own wormer and give it to Kim or Purchase your worm when the barn purchases wormer in Febuary ... This is how we can insure All Horses are Kept on our worming program...
Each horse will receive routine hoof care Every 6 - 8 weeks. We have a list of skilled and knowledgeable Farriers.
We also have a certified Equine Reflexologist and PEMF Practitioner in house.
DAC dealer right at our fingertips for all of our Nutritional questions.
A release from responsibility form & a boarding contract must be signed for each horse...
No STALLIONs "Due to all levels of
experience
in our barn we don't allow Stallions older then 2 years old"
We recommend that ALL Riders under 18 must have a helmet on when mounted NO BICYCLE HELMETS ......
